Arsenio Otero joins Celonis as Chief Operating Officer

Further addition to senior leadership team to support rapid growth

Celonis, the market leader in AI-enhanced Process Mining and Process Excellence software, today announced another addition to its senior leadership team. Arsenio Otero served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Salesforce International the last nine years, where he had a massive impact on its very high growth rates. He joined Celonis as global Chief Operating Officer on May 1, 2020 to support the company’s rapid growth journey.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in scaling and growing large, international operations, Arsenio will focus on scaling Celonis’ global business to support and accelerate growth. He will run go-to-market strategy & operations, demand generation and key growth programs such as sales and customer success enablement at scale. Celonis is a hyper-growth company that has expanded rapidly since its 2011 founding and grew over 130% in 2019 alone.

Before joining Celonis, Arsenio Otero was COO of Salesforce International, which included UK, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. In his nine years at the company, he, along with former President of Salesforce International and now Celonis’ Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Owner Miguel Milano, grew the international business from low hundred million dollars to multi-billion dollars. He previously held roles at Oracle and McKinsey.

Arsenio holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a MsC on Mining Engineering from the Polytechnic University in Madrid. He is married and father of two daughters. He likes sports, especially basketball, travelling and quality time with his family. He actively volunteers in different social projects and is a strong promoter of gender equality.
