What is AI’s Biggest Challenge? Business Leaders Point to Process Gaps

A new survey from Celonis highlights a major concern among business leaders: AI won’t be effective unless it understands how companies actually run. The 2025 Process Optimization Report, based on responses from over 1,600 executives, found that 89% believe AI needs process context to deliver real results, while 58% worry that weak processes could hold AI back.
