Celonis Day Milan 2024 Showcases the Power of Process Intelligence

MILAN – June 13, 2024Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining and Process Intelligence, brought together more than 100 customers, partners and members of the process community today for Celonis Day 2024 in Milan. At the event Celonis will showcased how processes are the most important lever for change and the fastest lever for generating value - relevant to each and every industry.

At Celonis Day Milan industry leaders  shared firsthand insights about how they are leveraging Process Intelligence to improve company performance, create massive value and deliver results for customers. Attendees heard success stories directly from Celonis customers, including global organizations such as Carrefour, Clementir and Saipem. Celonis partners such as Accenture, Protiviti and SDG also participated in the event.

Celonis keynote: Processes are the most effective lever for change

Alongside its customers and partners, Celonis demonstrated how it is making processes work for people, companies and the planet.

During the opening keynote, Andrea Carboni, Italy Country Leader at Celonis, outlined how companies use Process Intelligence to overcome the challenges that prevent them from finding and capturing the value hiding in their processes. “New technologies continue to emerge, customer expectations continue to rise, and the need for efficiency has never been greater,” said Carboni. “Organizations must continually adapt and transform. Those that do, succeed in preserving cash, improving liquidity and productivity, and increasing profits. Processes conceal enormous opportunities for realizing value, opportunities that lie beneath the surface and enable better operations: in less time, more sustainably, with greater value.”

Celonis also demonstrated the latest features and capabilities of its industry-leading Process Intelligence platform, showing how it integrates and enables emerging technologies such as automation and Artificial Intelligence. Process Intelligence is critical for organizations to drive value from their business operations and tech investments, especially Artificial Intelligence - as there is no enterprise AI without Process Intelligence.

“In a rapidly changing world, companies have to accelerate their digital transformation efforts. The collaboration with Celonis empowers us to identify process optimization opportunities and drive business transformation, thereby allowing us to deliver tremendous value for our organization and for our entire supply chain. We have already been putting this into practice in our accounts payable (AP) and audit processes and look forward to the continued collaboration with Celonis to create fast, data-driven and objective improvements in our entire AFC, Supply Chain, and HR organization,” said Mr Paolo Albini - Chief Supply Chain, Digital and IT Officer at Saipem.

“Celebrating our first Celonis Day in Milan is a proud moment for us, not only showcasing our incredible success and growth in Italy but also demonstrating our ability to create significant value for our customers. The outstanding expertise among the process community here fosters innovation and enables a valuable exchange on how leading companies are improving their performance, cash flow and customer experience with process intelligence,” said Carboni.

Celonis Italy has established a strong presence in the country as its Process Intelligence platform enables companies to realize rapid value, cash impact, improved customer satisfaction and reduced carbon emissions. Celonis also already partners with 16 leading Italian universities, such as Bocconi University, Università degli Studi di Verona and La Sapienza University in Rome, to educate the next generation of process professionals, drive innovation through research and expand the process community globally. Italy is establishing itself as a prominent hub for process mining research, demonstrated by the fact that the country hosted the past two editions of the International Conference for Process Mining (ICPM) in Bolzano (2022) and Rome (2023).
