Celonis Provides Process Intelligence to Microsoft Fabric Customers to Enable Effective AI Acceleration at Scale

LAS VEGAS, NEW YORK and MUNICH - Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining and Process Intelligence, is expanding its strategic collaboration with Microsoft with multiple deep integrations including introducing Celonis Process Intelligence as a workload in Microsoft Fabric. This democratizes Celonis’ unique class of data and context by letting Microsoft users seamlessly embed process intelligence into any solution they’re building—such as a Microsoft Power BI dashboard or AI agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio. "Thanks to the collaboration between Celonis and Microsoft, companies can access Celonis’ unique process data and context in the most commonly deployed enterprise platform,” said Daniel Brown, Chief Product Officer at Celonis. “This new integration gives Microsoft customers a process-centric data foundation for the solutions they’re building. With Celonis Process Intelligence, users can start by automating discrete process steps, graduate to creating agents that can handle more complex exceptions, and eventually automate and orchestrate end-to-end processes with AI across systems, departments and even companies.” “Our collaboration with Celonis brings the power of process intelligence to Microsoft customers,” said Dipti Borkar, VP and GM Fabric OneLake & Fabric ISVs, Microsoft Azure. “This zero-copy integration with Microsoft OneLake as well as introducing a Celonis workload within Microsoft Fabric enables our customers to use Celonis' process intelligence directly within their existing analytics and AI workflows. Together, we are making AI more relevant and effective for the enterprise.”

Zero-copy integration powered by Celonis Data Core

This zero-copy integration between Celonis Process Intelligence Graph and Microsoft Fabric is made possible by Celonis Data Core—the data stack that makes using data with Celonis easier and enables processing and querying at unparalleled speed and scale.

Celonis' zero-copy integration with Fabric enables seamless data sharing from Microsoft OneLake, which removes the need for any data transfer outside of Fabric. This eliminates data silos and ensures a single source of truth, reducing storage and transfer costs, limiting data errors, and simplifying data governance to support these modern enterprise IT priorities. The integration also enables use cases that require instant data synchronization.

The Celonis and Microsoft Fabric integration gives customers:

  • Access to Unique Process Intelligence: Democratizes Celonis’ unique class of data and context by revealing how to improve processes directly within the Microsoft Ecosystem

  • Effective Enterprise AI: Identifies agentic use cases with tangible business impact, builds AI solutions with data and context on how business processes work, and manages AI agents by orchestrating them alongside RPA bots, workflows, and humans

  • Faster Time to Process Insight: Accelerates time to insight by making it fast and easy to share data with Celonis through native zero-copy integrations

Celonis Process Intelligence Workload in Microsoft Fabric

Coming soon to Workload Hub:

  • Celonis’ workload allows customers to connect Celonis to raw data in Fabric

  • Celonis process-specific metrics can be synced back to Microsoft Fabric

  • Celonis Views can be embedded seamlessly in Fabric with process-specific visualizations to identify root causes and frame value opportunities

Accelerating AI innovation with Process Intelligence

Microsoft Fabric provides organizations a unified data platform aiming to accelerate AI transformation. But AI is only as good as the input it gets. Celonis Process Intelligence (PI) gives AI the context it needs to understand how a business runs and how to make it run better. In fact, 89% of business leaders say AI must understand how their processes run to deliver effective results. This is demonstrated through real-world AI use cases, such as a legendary Italian spirits company developing an AI-powered collaboration agent to expedite blocked sales orders or a manufacturer of design and architectural surfaces building an AI assistant that helps tackle blocked sales orders and makes their team more efficient.

Creating effective AI agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio within Celonis is faster and easier

Microsoft Copilot Studio is the leading AI development platform of choice for many Celonis customers. This latest integration enhances Celonis collaboration with Microsoft, announced at Celosphere 2024, that enables customers to more easily launch the configuration of an agent in Microsoft Copilot from within Celonis and bootstrap the remaining configuration of the agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio, with full confidence that those agents will have the right context to be effective.
