From the auditorium via the shuttle into the job: Celonis at the "Hack&Jump"

In the Hack & Jump shuttle Munich edition, on the 22md of October 2015, which is part of the successful series of events “IT Job Shuttle”, touring students and graduates of computer science, business, industrial engineering or relative of areas visit a total of eleven different companies and thus gain an informal opportunity to come into direct contact with potential employers and their fields of activity. While enjoying snacks and drinks, contacts can be made with key decision makers, setting the basis for internships, master-theses or permanent positions.

The Celonis GmbH, a young technology company that deals with its Process Mining technology and can already claim to be a global innovation leader, will participate at the tour, organised by the Agency “Young Targets”. “The so-called “War of talent” is no longer a buzzword, but already reality – good employees are no longer won by classic ads,” explains Julia Meier, Talent Acquisition Manager Celonis GmbH. “The concept of Hack & Jump is a great initiative to get to know candidates better and to give them a deeper insight into how a company is ticking, informal setting, because that is exactly what is important for Generation Y – authenticity, appreciation and an ear for own ideas.”

A scavenger hunt with sweepstakes, via a smartphone app, brings companies and participants together while considering technical issues and stimulates an exchange. The event is rounded up by a get-together in Munich Siemens Headquarters. At 7 p.m. representatives from government and partner organizations such as the Society for computer science (GI) e.V. are expected. Besides Celonis renowned Munich-based IT companies that are participants of the Hack & Jump include 1 & 1 Internet AG, CHECK 24 Services GmbH, Siemens AG and seven others. The event is funded by the participating companies, which are hoping to successfully recruit promising young talent. “Given Big Data and the increasing digitization of more and more areas of life, the job prospects are excellent in the IT industry,” said Julia Meier, Talent Acquisition Manager Celonis GmbH. “As a company that has just outgrown its start-up reputation and is a worldwide recognized technology leader in a booming industry, we are expecting tremendous growth and are always on the lookout for qualified newcomers.”
