Germanys fastest growing technology company
“Four years ago we – Bastian Nominacher, Martin Klenk and I – formally established Celonis. Since then, we have helped companies use their big data to improve their internal processes and are building a world leading, international software company. Today Process Mining is already used in over 13 different industries, from the revision in accounting through to supply chain management and customer service. Thus the first place is a confirmation of the work of the entire Celonis team about which we are very happy. The prize motivates us to continue to grow rapidly and drive further innovation.” Explained Alexander Rinke, co-founder of Celonis.
With Celonis Process Mining (CPM) companies can visualize and analyze their complex processes completely and building on this, optimizing such. Additionally the software works in real time, accessing all process data from the IT systems of a company in order to scalably reconstruct the actual process flow with all occurring variants for the user. CPM thus creates the greatest possible transparency in companies, allowing them to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs of processes dramatically.
“Again this year, we have received numerous requests from different technology sectors. The abundance of ideas underscores the innovative strength of the location Germany. In the digital age companies need to rethink their business processes in order to adapt their products and analyze and evaluate large amounts of data. Competent IT solutions are therefore in high demand. The Fast 50 participants have won with their innovative business models, customer acceptance and have potential to achieve success worldwide” explains Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Head of Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte.
With this placement in the Fast 50 Award 2015, Celonis continues its success story. Back in October Celonis was recognized for its innovative business idea and strong growth as an outstanding spin-off of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The innovative strength of Celonis has not gone unnoticed by the IT giant SAP. A few months ago SAP agreed to a global distribution partnership with the young company. Technical experts from Celonis as well as from SAP are now working together intensively to optimize the combination of advanced technologies and develop such further.
